Court cases feature strongly in the FEBRUARY Consultation Catch-up distributed to my email list this weekend
Should the OfSTED consultation on schools assessment have been ruled lawful? Should LB Bromley have got away with closing a site delivering adult learning courses without consulting the users? Central Bedfordshire, however, may accept they didn’t consult well enough on an Experimental Traffic Order. Over in Canada, a Judge has condemned a consultation confined only to letters and emails. Back home, we have a consultation that’s about to finish (Face recognition) and one that should have started …but hasn’t (Social media restrictions for young people). An inconclusive Report on Pylons in Wales, and two more papers on Neighbourhoods in England. But fear not, all is not lost as my book review is of Jeremy Hunt’s latest burst of optimism called “Can Britain Be Great Again?” All this in two accessible pages; a must-read when the news elsewhere is so much worse!
